Head Coach, Middle School Boys’ Baseball

March 2025 Start Date

Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
– Ability to sign and affirm the school’s statement of faith
– Active membership in a Bible-believing Christian Church
– Experience coaching youth baseball
– Must understand and be able to teach the necessary fundamental skills of the game of baseball
– Must be an effective communicator who possesses strong leadership and interpersonal skills
– Must be willing and available to drive school vans to and from practices and matches throughout the season
– Work in conjunction with the Varsity Head Coach to establish alignment across the middle school and high school programs

Summer Day Camp counselor

June 16th start date
August 22nd end date

-Actively monitor campers during all activities, ensuring their safety and following camp rules and procedures. 

-Develop and lead a variety of engaging activities like arts and crafts, sports, games, nature exploration, and special themed days, tailored to the campers' age group. 

-Divide campers into smaller groups based on age and ability, facilitating positive interactions and resolving conflicts. 

-Demonstrate positive behavior, enthusiasm, and a supportive attitude to encourage camper participation and personal growth. 

-Maintain open communication with camp staff, parents, and campers, reporting any concerns or issues promptly. 

-Be prepared to administer basic first aid and respond to minor injuries. 

-Assist with maintaining camp cleanliness and ensuring proper equipment storage. 

-Ability to build rapport with children, create a positive group dynamic, and effectively manage different personalities. 

-Develop engaging activities that cater to various interests and keep campers actively involved. 

-Ability to guide and motivate campers, making decisions and managing group dynamics. 

-Adapt to changing situations and respond calmly to unexpected challenges. 

-Understanding of age-appropriate activities and developmental stages of children. 

-Commitment to maintaining a safe environment and following camp safety protocols.

Coventry Christian Schools—a classical Christian school of 650 students (270 in Upper School) in Pottstown, PA—is seeking an Upper School (6th – 12th) Mathematics Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate for this position will have a genuine love for quantitative reasoning that he or she wants to share with students and colleagues, an interest in promoting classical Christian education to students and their families, and a heart for shepherding students in the fear of the Lord. Candidates with a background in teaching middle school math or statistics are especially encouraged to apply. Experience with classical education is preferred, although professional development and networking opportunities in classical Christian education are offered to all staff.
