Faculty and Staff Opportunities

Pre-Kindergarten Long Term Sub
January 2027 Start Date

Coventry Christian School is seeking a Long Term Sub for our Pre-k Lead Teacher from January until March. This role would require implementing lesson plans, communicating with parents regularly, creating intentional engaging activities, and supervising and monitoring the safety of children within the classroom.

Events Assistant (2026-2027)
Term: Annual, 10-month, Part-Time (5-10 hours per week)
Reports To: Elizabeth Sorom, Marketing & Hospitality Manager

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Advancement Team to help plan, organize, and execute school events that support the mission, vision, and Christian values of the school. The hours vary on a weekly basis based upon the school event's calendar. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have flexible availability, including early morning, evenings, and on weekends.

Event Planning & Coordination
Assist with the planning, set-up and breakdown of school-wide events from conception through completion.
Help to coordinate venue setup, decorations, catering, technology, and hospitality needs.
Ensure all events reflect the school’s Christian mission and values.
Evaluate event effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Interim Drama Director
Part-Time, Salaried
Immediate Start

Coventry Christian Schools has an immediate opening for an Interim Drama Director to oversee our Upper School Musical. This position generally requires 2-3 hours a night after school for rehearsals four days a week (not Wednesdays) and a few Saturday practices. The Interim Director will also be responsible for selecting a production and assembling a team of volunteers (with the school's help) to assist him or her in the production. Prior experience with drama direction and acting is strongly preferred. Participation in the drama program beyond the Upper School Musical can be discussed following the conclusion of the performances.
